The Life of Meaning |
|
| |
Beginning Wednesday, June 4, 2008, the FPC Weekly Bible Study Series will focus on the critically acclaimed anthology, The Life of Meaning: Reflections on Faith, Doubt, and Repairing the World by Bob Abernethy and William Bole, editors of Religion and Ethics Newsweekly, from which the core content of this book comes. Interviews-turned-essays from more than fifty people (ranging from Jimmy Carter to the Dalai Lama and many in-between) come together in what is a beautifully compiled and edited book.
Each Wednesday, beginning in June (for as long as it takes!), we will discuss one or more of these essays, exploring what in them leads us to a deeper, more fulfilling faith.

The above links provide an example of how we go about our study, although it is informal and largely unpredictable. We follow the conversations wherever they go! Come when you can. You are never late. We meet in the lower level Bible Class. You may park in the rear and enter through the archway. |
