Fellow seekers,
Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ!
In your travel about the internet, you have arrived at the web site of First Presbyterian Church, Owensboro. It is a fortunate stop you have made. One might even say that you were predestined to come here! My hope is that your visit by way of the World Wide Web will soon be followed by a visit in person.
The Presbyterian Church (USA) has 38 churches located in the 39 counties of Western Kentucky, the area covered by our Presbytery. We’re not present in every county seat. However, you will find that we have a very real presence in Owensboro, one of the largest cities in Kentucky. It is my firm belief that you have discovered one of the most caring and committed congregations that you might find anywhere; it is a fortunate discovery for you, your family, and your friends. The pastors, staff, session, and congregation make quite an effort to insure that you both experience the Grace of God in Jesus Christ and that you feel welcome, personally, to their witness on His behalf. You have come to a good place both on the web and in person.
I encourage you to get to know First, Owensboro. The folks in the pews will make you welcome. The pastoral staff is gifted and caring.
