Local Foods Potluck

On June 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, there will be a local foods potluck.  Bring a dish made from your garden or purchased from the Farmer's Market.  Please contact the church office if you can attend.

New Oven

On Thursday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m., a representative from Hobart will be at the church to explain some of the features of the new stove in the kitchen.  Anyone wanting to learn about the do's and don'ts of the stove are invited to attend.

New Crossroads Class

Beginning on June 21, Helen Sears will lead the Crossroads Class in a study of Mark's Gospel based on the book Mark For Everyone by N. T. Wright, a highly regarded preacher and scholar.  The book contains a new translation of the gospel by Bishop Wright which eliminates the "ponderous tones" of many translations and ensures that the words speak "not just to some people, but to everyone." The book can be ordered through the Presbyterian Distribution Service (1-800-524-2612) for $12.70 or from Amazon.com for $11.53, plus shipping in each case.

Women Helping Women Knitters

The next gathering is Thursday, June 25th at 10:30 a.m. in the parlor.  Bring a sandwich if you'd like.  If you cannot come, just continue to leave your squares in the box in the parlor.  There is FREE YARN in the parlor for anyone who would like some for working on the project.  For more information, call Suzanne Guyer.

Sermon MP3s

Beginning with the month of May, sermons are now available in MP3 audio format.

Electronic Presbynotes

Soon, our bi-weekly newsletter Presbynotes will be offered electronically -  by email and on the web - for your viewing convenience. This is another step in our hope to make a difference in the amount of resources we use. An electronic version of our newsletter will not only spare many toner cartridges and reem-upon-reem of paper, it will also save our church thousands of dollars that can be more wisely and justly spent in the community.

If you have not done so already, please click here to sign up for the church Email list.

Thank you for visiting our website. Please email us with suggestions or corrections.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
