The OCPW welcomes Susan Hawes as secretary.  She replaces Fran Griffith, who resigned.  Fran has served on the OCPW Coordinating Team in many ways for years.

Socks for Students
During September and October Presbyterian Women will be collecting socks for school children in kindergarten thru 6^th grade.  A box will be at the Clinton Place entrance.

Presbyterian Women are invited to join Owensboro Leaders on Thursday, August 26^th for the walk marking the 90^th anniversary of the SUFFERAGE ACT which gave WOMEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE.  Gather at City Hall- 12:00 noon- then walk to the Courthouse for a brief ceremony.
