Each Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Parlor, a group of members and friends gather together to study scripture and resources pertinent to our faith. Recently, the group has traveled the beautiful and rich terrain of The Gospel of John and the mysterious landscape of Revelation. During the Season of Lent 2008, the group explored Richard John Neuhaus' book Death on a Friday Afternoon: Meditations on the Seven Last Words of Jesus From the Cross. Also, we have studied Marcus Borg's and N.T. Wright's "The Meaning of Jesus: Two Visions."
Currently, we are studing "All About God" by Samir Selmanovic. The group is led by Brad Smith.
All are welcome anytime.
